Josli Rockafella designs websites, takes pictures and makes videos. After graduating from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Communications, Art & Technology, she went into project management at Burnkit Creative. She is now a freelancer, working with clients including TED, Warmland Films (as production management of “Feel Good Lost”) and Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration’s 10 year campaign. Josli designed Discourse Media’s project Moving Forward. Josli’s portfolio can be found on her website.

As an intern in 2015, Kendra Perrin contributed research to Discourse Media projects on global energy poverty and Indigenous incarceration rates. Currently an undergraduate student at Quest University Canada, Kendra is exploring the question ‘“What shapes a city?” through an interdisciplinary approach that leans heavily on human geography, sociology and cultural anthropology. Kendra is the co-editor-in-chief of Quest’s student newspaper, The Mark, and as a student-journalist she is drawn to reporting on the changes to Squamish’s place identity as its economy begins to diversify from resource dependence and heavy industry.
